Aye Thiri Kyaw is a first-year Ph.D. student within the Gender Violence and Health Centre, Department of Global Health and Development at LSTHTM. Before commencing her Ph.D., she worked in various roles such as researcher, gender analyst, humanitarian to UN, INGOs, and Civil Society Organizations for nearly ten years. She is also a TEDx speaker, an award-winning women rights activist.
